BOW RIVER INDIVIDUAL SKILLS CAMP
These are single sign-up sessions on August 23 and 24 that cover a range of core skills such as skating, shooting, passing & puck control skills, and defensive skills. This camp will be run by DASH at Bowness Arena and is open to athletes entering U9 through U18. Limit of 24 skaters per session.
Saturday August 23
- U9 POWER SKATING - 9:00am – 10:00am
- U11 POWER SKATING - 10:15am – 11:15am
- U11/U13 PASSING AND PUCK CONTROL - 11:30am – 12:30pm
- U13 POWER SKATING - 12:45pm – 1:45pm
- U15/U18 POWER SKATING - 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Sunday August 24
- U9 SHOOTING - 9:00am – 10:00am
- U11 SHOOTING - 10:15am – 11:15am
- U11/U13 POWER SKATING - 11:30am – 12:30pm
- U13 SHOOTING - 12:45pm – 1:45pm
- U15/U18 DEFENSIVE SKILLS - 2:00pm - 3:00pm
COST: $30 per individual session
INTENSIVE CHECKING CAMP
Bow River has partnered with Puck Smart Skill Development for a 3-session Intensive U15 Checking Camp. This camp is more comprehensive than the free clinic Bow River offers in September prior to Checking Evaluations. This camp is designed to give U15 players the knowledge and skills to not only learn, but excel with body checking. Space available for two groups of 14!
- Group 1: Aug 25, 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm / Aug 27, 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm / Aug 28, 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm
- Group 2: Aug 26, 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm / Aug 27, 8:00 pm - 9:15 pm / Aug 28, 8:00 pm - 9:15 pm
COST: 3-session camp $180
BOW RIVER GOALIE EVALUATION PREP
From August 25 to 28 at Bowness Arena, Evolution Goaltending will be running a 2 session goalie prep camp for our U11 through U18 goalies.
- Group 1: U11/U13, Aug 25 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm and Aug 26 7:45 pm - 8:45 pm
- Group 2: U13/U15, Aug 25 7:45 pm - 8:45 pm and Aug 27 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
- Group 3: U15/U18, Aug 26 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm and Aug 28 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
COST: 2 session camp $115
BOW RIVER SKATER EVALUATION PREP
This is a 3-session camp at Bowness Arena, and will be run by DASH. The Black groups will skate August 17, 18 and 19 . The Gold groups will skate August 20, 21 and 22. There is no difference in programming between the Black and Gold groups. This camp is open to athletes entering U9 through U18.
Black Group - August 17, 18, 19 (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)
- U9 Black: 4:15 – 5:15pm
- U11 Black: 5:30 – 6:30pm
- U13 Black: 6:45 – 7:45pm
- U15/U18 Black: 8:00 – 9:00pm
Gold Group - August 20, 21, 22 (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
- U9/U11 Gold: 4:15 – 5:15pm
- U11/U13 Gold: 5:30 – 6:30pm
- U13/U15 Gold: 6:45 – 7:45pm
- U15/U18 Gold: 8:00 – 9:00pm
