Bow River Bruins Hockey Association – AGM ANNOUNCEMENT

The Bow River Bruins Hockey Association (BRBHA) Board of Directors have called for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Wednesday June 10, 2026 starting at 7:30pm at the Bowness Sportsplex.

THE FOLLOWING BOARD OF DIRECTOR POSITIONS ARE UP FOR ELECTION:

  • President
  • 1st Vice President
  • Secretary
  • 3 Community Officer Positions

In order for the BRBHA to run effectively, we need good volunteers to fill these roles.

NOMINATION PROCESS

  • We encourage all Members in Good Standing to review the above positions (a summary of the duties of these positions can be found through this link).  Any BRBHA Member in Good Standing may nominate another BRBHA Member in Good Standing for the position of a Director. Such nominations must be made at least 7 days prior (June 3, 2026) to the AGM and may be emailed to nominations@bowriverhockey.ca.  All nominations must include a statement of acceptance from the nominee.

  • Any incumbent who wishes to re-run for their position must declare in writing to the President at least 14 days prior (May 27, 2026) to the AGM which include Executive and Community Officer positions.

  • Nominations for President, 1st Vice President and Secretary must be made at least 7 days prior (June 3, 2026) to the AGM. No nominations will be taken for these positions on June 10, 2026.

One lucky attendee will win a $500 credit towards their 2026-27 registration fees.
