U13 AA
The Bow River U13AA program offers a high-caliber hockey experience designed to support player development through structured on-ice training, competitive gameplay, and off-ice performance development. Below is a detailed overview of the benefits included in the program.
On-Ice Program
Practices
- 2 full-ice practices per week
- Practice Schedule:
- Tuesdays at 4:00 PM
- one other varied practice time
Games
- U13AA will play in the Calgary Division of Hockey Alberta’s AEHL U13AA League
- 26-30 league games per season
- All games are 90 minutes in duration
- Online scoring and statistics through AEHL and Flo Hockey
Tournaments
- Participation in Hockey Calgary’s Elite U13 Thanksgiving Classic Tournament
- Entry in Esso Minor Hockey Week and City Championships
Off-Ice Development
- DASH Dryland Training: 8 sessions
- SCORE Shooting Range Sessions: 3 sessions
Skills Sessions
- Evolution Goaltending: 4 team-based goalie development sessions
- Skills Instructor Sessions: 5 sessions integrated into the season

The Bow River Bruins are looking for a passionate, driven and experienced coach to lead the U13AA team for the 2025-2026 season. We are accepting applications from parent and non-parent candidates.
